On July 15, 2024, Winters Bros. announced that the Company had merged with WM to establish Long Island’s leading and best waste and environmental services provider.  The transition has been seamless for our customers as the same great, professional employees are providing the same services across Long Island.

WM shares Winters Bros.’ strong commitment to superior customer service.  As each company has done individually, the combined company will remain fully committed to serving the needs of customers.  We expect that, by leveraging the best of both companies upon completion of this acquisition, we will be able to:

• Accelerate our strategies for continually improving customer service on Long Island and in New York City;
• Capitalize on the attractive business opportunities in the Long Island marketplace;
• Enhance our ability to provide comprehensive solutions to meet the waste-stream management needs of our customers, especially with enhanced recycling, organics and food waste management.

Bringing together the strengths of the two companies provides us with added capabilities and geographic reach to more effectively serve our customers.  The transaction was effective on July 15, 2024.
